25 Days of Fitness: Day 4: The Tough Twenty

Happy Monday and Day 4! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

 

Today’s fitness focus is legs. Growing up I had a love/hate relationship with my legs. Between genetics and starting to lift heavy in high school, I have always had thick legs. Trying on jeans, ha that was a fiasco! Now that I am older and have a little more experience, I have learned to embrace my physique and my genetics. And isn’t it funny how we can be so critical of ourselves?  Most guys want bigger legs and most girls want smaller ones! Silly!

 

Our legs though are one of our most powerful assets. Think about it, they carry us from point A to be point B. They are our wheels!

 

Today’s workout is short, sweet and to the point. You will need a bench or a chair to step up on and a CAN DO mindset! Be sure to warm up and cool down before and after the 20 minute sweat sesh!

 

The Tough Twenty

 

Repeat the following exercises as many times as you can for 20 minutes

 

 

 

Cool Down: 5 minutes – stretch and walk it out!
